Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2’s gun toting, bird flipping, violent sheriff featuring DLC gets a release date

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has announced an April 27th release date for its first DLC expansion, titled “Loose Cannon.” The announcement arrives following the base game’s troubled launch in 2025, with ongoing development efforts aimed at improving and expanding the player experience.

The DLC shifts narrative focus to Benny Muldoon, a character who received minimal screen time in the main campaign’s storyline. According to developer insights, Muldoon was deliberately selected as the DLC protagonist specifically because of his limited presence in the core narrative. This approach provides an opportunity to develop his character arc further and explore new story content that expands the game’s world.

The expansion will comprise four quests that allow players to experience fresh gameplay and narrative perspectives within the vampire-themed setting. Loose Cannon represents the first major post-launch content offering for the RPG, continuing the studio’s ongoing efforts to expand, refine, and enhance the game following its initial release. The DLC’s focus on a secondary character from the main story suggests a strategy to explore different angles and perspectives within the Bloodlines 2 universe.
