Easyhoon Returns to T1 As Part of LCK Coaching Staff
Former League of Legends professional player Lee ‘Easyhoon’ Ji-hoon has rejoined T1 as a coach, marking his return to the organization over a decade after he shared the mid lane role with Faker during the team’s championship run.
Easyhoon will join T1’s coaching staff beginning in Round 2 of the 2026 LCK (League Championship Korea) season. During his playing career with T1, Easyhoon provided crucial mid lane depth, particularly specializing in champions like Azir, which Faker faced criticism for not mastering at the time.
The return carries notable irony: Faker is currently facing similar scrutiny for subpar performances on Aurora, repeating a pattern from their earlier partnership when the team relied on Easyhoon’s champion pool to cover perceived gaps in Faker’s gameplay.
According to T1’s official announcement, the organization welcomed Easyhoon for his extensive experience and the leadership he is expected to provide to the team. His coaching role represents another chapter in his relationship with T1, transitioning from player to coach as the organization continues refining its roster and staff for competitive success in the 2026 season.
