Invincible VS Story Details & Character Pass Revealed
Invincible VS has unveiled major new details about its story mode and post-launch content plans. The game will feature an entirely original narrative separate from both the animated series and the source material, developed by the same creative team behind the show. The story focuses on a Viltrumite invasion of Earth, with heroes from across the planet uniting to defend against the extraterrestrial threat.
Until now, information about the campaign had been limited, with most promotional focus directed toward the game’s 3v3 tag-based fighting mechanics and intensely visceral combat system. The first official story trailer has now been released, providing players with their first glimpse of the narrative campaign.
Alongside the story announcement, Invincible VS has revealed the first two characters in its Year 1 Character Pass: Universa and The Immortal will be the initial additions to the base roster. This indicates the game plans to sustain its content pipeline through seasonal character releases, establishing a live-service model for post-launch support.
