Mr Beast’s Company Sued Over Claims of Sexual Harassment

Beast Industries, the production company behind MrBeast—the world’s largest YouTube channel—faces a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Former social media executive Lorrayne Mavromatis filed the complaint against the company and former CEO James Warren.

According to Mavromatis’s allegations, Warren engaged in harassing behavior including inappropriate comments about her appearance. She claims she was subjected to private, one-on-one meetings at Warren’s residence where she was told she was a “beautiful woman” and should feel grateful for being hit on by a male client.

Mavromatis alleges that after she complained about Warren’s conduct, she faced retaliation. Specifically, she claims she was demoted upon returning from maternity leave and subsequently terminated from her position. Her lawsuit highlights concerns about workplace harassment and protection for employees returning from parental leave.

The Los Angeles Times reported on the lawsuit, which centers on claims of a hostile work environment and unlawful retaliation. Beast Industries has denied the allegations. The case underscores broader conversations about workplace conduct and accountability in high-profile media and entertainment companies.
