Pokémon Champions Ver. 1.0.3 Update Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

The Pokémon Company has released version 1.0.3 of Pokémon Champions for Nintendo Switch, delivering a patch focused on fixing bugs identified at launch. The update went live on April 22, 2026, fulfilling an earlier promise to address quality-of-life issues.

The patch corrects several technical issues that emerged following the game’s initial release. Fixed problems include an incorrect description for the move Leech Seed and an error where the tutorial Pokémon displayed the wrong gender. Some of these corrections were previously detailed in The Pokémon Company’s launch announcement, while others represent newly addressed bugs not previously mentioned.

However, the 1.0.3 update does not resolve some of the more substantial player concerns regarding the game’s content, specifically the limited Pokémon roster and restricted Held Item selection. These broader design decisions fall outside the scope of this patch, which is exclusively focused on technical fixes and corrections to existing features.

The release of version 1.0.3 demonstrates The Pokémon Company’s commitment to polish the game during its early market weeks. Such bug-fix patches are standard practice for newly released games, helping developers address unforeseen issues that escaped quality assurance testing. Players can download the update through their Nintendo Switch consoles.
