Legend of Korra’s Korrasami made free to read with other Avatar comics
Webtoon has announced that The Legend of Korra comics will be made available on its platform in a vertical scroll format starting April 26, continuing the rollout of Avatar franchise content in digital form. Following the successful launch of The Last Airbender comics on Webtoon, the platform will distribute The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, a three-part saga set directly after the series finale.
The story is written by Michael Dante DiMartino, co-creator of both Avatar and The Legend of Korra, with art by Irene Koh. Originally published in print by Dark Horse Comics in 2018, Turf Wars follows Korra and Asami’s adventures and has been reformatted for mobile consumption through Webtoon’s vertical scrolling interface. This effort makes the acclaimed graphic novel series freely and legally accessible to fans in an optimized digital format, expanding the Avatar universe’s presence on the platform.
