Star Wars: Galactic Racer Release Date Seemingly Leaked on Steam
Star Wars: Galactic Racer, an upcoming arcade racing game featuring iconic Star Wars vehicles including podracers, speeder bikes, and landspeeders, has had its release date apparently leaked through Steam. A social media watcher discovered that the game’s Steam store page briefly displayed an October 6, 2026 release date before the listing was updated to show only a generic “2026” window.
Originally revealed at the 2025 Game Awards, Galactic Racer will offer various incentives for players who pre-order. Standard edition pre-orders will include a bonus Livery for the Repulsorcraft vehicle and an exclusive player Banner for multiplayer modes. A Deluxe Edition with additional content is also available, featuring a Steelbook case included with physical copies.
While the Steam page initially provided the specific October 6, 2026 date, this has not yet been officially confirmed by the publisher. The store listing currently displays only a 2026 release window.
