Best new Xbox Game Pass games to play this weekend (April 24-26)
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass continues to evolve with recent announcements reshaping its value proposition. The company has lowered subscription prices while simultaneously confirming that future Call of Duty titles will no longer launch day-and-date on the service, marking a significant shift in the platform’s approach to major releases. Additionally, rumors suggest Microsoft is exploring alternative monetization models, including a potential à la carte version of Game Pass and possible bundling with Discord Nitro.
Despite these strategic changes, Game Pass maintains its substantial library of over 900 titles, with fresh content regularly arriving each month. The platform recently added several notable releases, including the highly anticipated Hades 2, the cozy-game Tiny Bookshop, and Vampire Crawlers, a roguelike deck-builder spinoff from developer Poncle’s smash-hit Vampire Survivors. The addition of Vampire Crawlers continues Poncle’s track record of creating compelling, addictive gameplay experiences that captivate players.
