A modder has created a crossover modification for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 that enables players to take control of a Sangheili Elite, the iconic alien species from the Halo franchise. The mod, showcased in a video by artist and Halo enthusiast Skykillerr, features a white “Ultra” Elite character ported directly from Halo: Reach. The choice of character is particularly clever, as the Elite’s “Ultra” designation plays as a visual pun on the Ultramarines, one of the most recognizable Space Marine chapters in the Warhammer 40K universe. The modification demonstrates the ability to swap out character models between unrelated franchises, blending the advanced soldier aesthetic of Halo’s Covenant faction with the grimdark, gothic setting of Warhammer 40K. As of the report, Skykillerr has not released the mod for widespread public use, presenting it only through video demonstration.
