Hazbin Hotel Confirmed to End With Season 5 Before Season 3 Even has a Release Date
Prime Video has confirmed that Vivienne Medrano’s adult animation series Hazbin Hotel will conclude with Season 5, marking an early end-point announcement that comes before the show’s third season has even premiered. The confirmation was revealed at LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas alongside a new trailer showcasing the planned conclusion of the story featuring characters Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, and Angel Dust.
Medrano, the creator and head of production studio SpindleHorse, expressed gratitude for Prime Video’s support in bringing the show to its planned ending. “I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion,” she said in a statement. “I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends.”
The announcement represents an unusual move in the streaming landscape, as the network has chosen to publicly commit to a series finale while the show remains in active production. This contrasts with many streaming series that face sudden cancellations or uncertain futures. The early confirmation gives Hazbin Hotel creators and fans a roadmap for the show’s narrative conclusion.
