Hazbin Hotel renewed for a fifth and final season ahead of season 3
Hazbin Hotel has been officially renewed for a fifth and final season, as announced by Spindlehorse and Prime Video at LVL UP Expo on April 24. While fans are currently awaiting the arrival of Season 3, the confirmation that the series will continue through a fifth season provides clarity on its long-term trajectory, with that conclusion still years away.
The animated musical series, which centers on the princess of Hell, has maintained a passionate and dedicated fanbase since its YouTube pilot went viral in 2019. The pilot’s success led to the show’s development into a full series on Prime Video, establishing it as a notable adult animated property with sustained audience engagement.
The renewal announcement was delivered through a brief teaser video that spliced footage from the series with text confirming the “fifth and final” season is in development. The teaser did not reveal specific details about the show’s future direction, narrative plans, or timeline for subsequent season releases.
This renewal provides the creative team with a defined endpoint for their storytelling while ensuring multiple seasons of content remain ahead for viewers. The fifth season will serve as the series’ conclusion, allowing Spindlehorse and Prime Video to plan the narrative arc and character arcs accordingly through the final installment.
