OMODA Revealed as VCT & Game Changers Main Partner
Riot Games has announced that OMODA, an electric vehicle and hybrid brand owned by Chinese manufacturer Chery Automobile, will serve as the main partner for VCT EMEA (Valorant Champions Tour Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Game Changers VCT through 2028. This marks the first automotive partnership in Valorant’s esports ecosystem.
The deal grants OMODA significant visibility within the VCT platform. The brand will sponsor the Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards at the Finals of each split, serving as the presenting partner for the award ceremony following the Stage trophy presentation. Additionally, OMODA vehicles will be featured at VCT in-person events, including the VCT Stage 2 Barcelona Finals.
Omoda, which specializes in electric and hybrid vehicles, recently expanded into the European market in 2024, securing manufacturing operations at Nissan’s factory in Barcelona. The partnership represents a notable crossover between the automotive and gaming esports sectors, reflecting broader trends of traditional industries seeking engagement with gaming audiences and younger demographics.
