Rugrats: Retro Rewind Collection Will Bring PS1, N64, & GB Favourites To Switch This May
Limited Run Games has announced Rugrats: Retro Rewind Collection, a compilation of six classic Rugrats games spanning the 1990s console era. The collection launches digitally on Nintendo Switch eShop on May 15th, 2026, with physical editions available for pre-order from May 1st through May 31st on Limited Run Games’ website.
The compilation features games originally released on PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance. Confirmed titles include Rugrats: Search for Reptar, the first Rugrats adventure released for PlayStation in 1998, which features a jigsaw puzzle mystery; The Rugrats Movie, originally on Game Boy and Game Boy Color, following the Rugrats on a mission to find the missing Dil Pickles; and Rugrats: Time Travelers, described as a punchy platformer. Three additional classic titles round out the collection.
All games include modern quality-of-life enhancements such as save states and rewind functionality. Physical versions are available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, with the Deluxe offering an XS-style jewel case, official soundtrack, Reptar puzzle piece keychain, and sticker sheet. The collection also arrives on PlayStation 5.
This release continues the Rugrats video game renaissance, following 2024’s Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland, targeting longtime fans of the 1990s franchise.
