“Crushes Intel in gaming with a cheaper cost”: Our top AMD CPU for PC gaming has seen its value improved for a limited time
AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor is experiencing a limited-time price reduction during Amazon Gaming Week, now available at $439.99—representing an 8% discount from its regular price. The CPU is widely recognized as one of the best processors available for PC gaming, positioning it as a notable value opportunity for gamers seeking competitive performance without premium pricing.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D features AMD’s second-generation 3D V-Cache technology, which the company credits with delivering “unparalleled gaming performance.” While the processor excels at gaming workloads, it offers more modest capabilities for productivity tasks. The discount is part of Amazon’s broader Gaming Week promotion, which features reductions on various PC gaming components and peripherals aimed at improving gaming experiences through higher framerates and resolutions.
For consumers interested in this processor, the limited-time nature of the sale suggests that those seeking this discount should act relatively quickly, as such promotional pricing is typically temporary. The combination of the CPU’s competitive gaming performance and the temporary price reduction positions the Ryzen 7 9800X3D as a notable option during this promotional period.
