Collision Course - Arc Raiders Quest Guide
Arc Raiders’ Riven Tides update introduces new quests designed to help players familiarize themselves with the latest map. The “Collision Course” quest, assigned by NPC Tian Wen, requires players to eliminate a Comet enemy and obtain a Comet Igniter. Comets are large, mobile Arc enemies resembling metal spheres with blue lights and comparable in size to Surveyor units, though distinctly larger than Fireballs or Pops. While Comets can be encountered on most maps throughout Arc Raiders, they are particularly abundant on the beach areas of the new Riven Tides map, making it an ideal location for completing this objective. To successfully complete the quest, players should equip augments that provide safe pockets, which allow secure storage of items during combat. After defeating a Comet and obtaining the Comet Igniter, safe extraction is critical—if a player dies before extracting with the item still in their inventory, they must return to the map and repeat the process. The Comet’s explosive nature and powerful shockwave attacks make strategic positioning and careful preparation essential to quest completion.
