Housemarque to host session at Nordic Game 2026
Finnish developer Housemarque will host a session at the Nordic Game 2026 conference, where it will discuss the creative and design processes behind its latest title, Saros. The presentation, titled ‘Lessons from Carcosa: Art & Design Direction for Saros,’ will be led by three senior members of Housemarque’s creative team: brand director Mikael Haveri, associate design director Mitja Roskaric, and art director Simone Silvestri.
The session will focus on how art and design disciplines work in tandem to enhance and refine Housemarque’s gameplay-first philosophy. By sharing these insights, the studio aims to provide game developers and industry professionals with a closer look at how visual direction and gameplay mechanics are integrated in modern game development.
The Nordic Game 2026 conference features a strong lineup of industry speakers and professionals. Other confirmed participants include Mat Ombler from Laced Music, marketing journalist Junae Benne, and speakers from Connecting the Pixel, among other notable figures in the gaming industry.
