A six-game collection of retro Rugrats titles is coming next month
Limited Run Games is bringing a six-game compilation of classic Rugrats titles to modern platforms. The Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection will be released digitally on May 15, with a physical edition available for pre-order from May 1-31 on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
The compilation contains eight games across six titles, drawing from the original PlayStation and Game Boy libraries. The collection includes Rugrats: Search for Reptar and Rugrats: Studio Tour from the PS1, along with Rugrats in Paris: The Movie also on PS1. The Game Boy versions feature The Rugrats Movie (released in both standard and Color versions), and Rugrats: Time Travelers for Game Boy Color.
This release represents an effort to preserve and make classic Rugrats games accessible to both longtime fans and new players. The titles span different eras of gaming, from early handheld games to console releases, showcasing the franchise’s presence across multiple platforms during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The physical pre-order window provides collectors with a limited-time opportunity to secure a physical copy, while the digital release ensures broader accessibility across both platforms.
