Anbernic’s new rotating screen handheld will start at less than $100
Anbernic has announced the RG Rotate, a new rotating screen handheld gaming device designed to be more compact and pocketable than the company’s previous sliding screen model. The device features a square screen and a processor capable of playing classic PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64 games, positioning it as a retro gaming option in the handheld market.
Preorders for the RG Rotate will open on May 11th through Anbernic’s official online store. The entry-level model in polar black, featuring a metal front panel and plastic shell, will start at $87.99, undercutting the $100 price point. A premium variant with an all-metal body and silver finish will be priced at $107.99. These price points make the device an accessible option for retro gaming enthusiasts looking for a compact, portable solution.
