Where Is Black Ops Royale in Call of Duty Warzone 2026?
Call of Duty: Warzone experienced a significant resurgence in 2025 following the return of the Verdansk map, which transported players back five years to the classic battle royale setting. Building on this momentum, Activision introduced Black Ops Royale, a new game mode that offered a refreshing take on Warzone’s battle royale formula and drew inspiration from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode.
However, players who enjoyed the mode have recently noticed that Black Ops Royale has been removed from Warzone’s playlist selection screen. The disappearance has prompted questions from the community about the reasons behind the removal. Activision has acknowledged the change and provided an explanation, though the specific details of why the mode was delisted remain unclear from available information. The removal appears to have occurred toward the end of a recent Warzone season.
