Control Resonant New Game Plus Details Revealed

Remedy Entertainment has announced details about Control Resonant’s New Game Plus mode as the studio prepares for the game’s Q2 2026 launch window. Information about the feature was shared through a PlayStation blog post, detailing what progression elements players will retain when starting a new playthrough.

In New Game Plus, players will be able to carry over a significant portion of their progression, including Aberrant upgrades, health improvements, combat ability resource enhancements, unlocked supernatural combat abilities, talents, and artifacts. This approach allows returning players to experience the game with powerful customization options already in place.

Notably, traversal abilities will not carry over into New Game Plus, meaning players will need to reacquire these movement options during their second playthrough. This design choice likely maintains progression and challenge despite the player’s enhanced combat capabilities.

While Remedy Entertainment has not yet announced a specific release date for Control Resonant, the developer has confirmed the game will launch within the Q2 2026 window. The studio continues to share information about the upcoming title’s features in the lead-up to release.
