PS Studios Celebrates the Launch of PS5 Exclusive Saros with Brilliant Artwork
PlayStation Studios is marking the launch of Housemarque’s exclusive action game Saros with celebratory artwork from the company’s first-party development teams. As part of Sony’s tradition for major releases, several studios have created special pieces featuring Saros protagonist Arjun alongside characters from their own flagship franchises.
Sucker Punch Productions contributed artwork depicting Arjun in a relaxed moment with Atsu. Naughty Dog created a crossover piece featuring Ellie from The Last of Us Part II positioned in Arjun’s place within the key art, with the menacing Rat King visible in the background. Santa Monica Studio produced an image pairing Arjun with Kratos from God of War, while Insomniac Games placed Ratchet in Saros’s dark world of Carcosa, with the character appearing surprisingly cheerful despite the harrowing setting.
The collaborative artwork initiative demonstrates camaraderie within PlayStation’s studio ecosystem while cross-promoting multiple franchises to audiences. Such celebratory pieces have become a hallmark of major PS Studios launches in recent years, allowing first-party teams to acknowledge each other’s milestones and celebrate alongside development partners.
