Feature: These 20+ Games Are Coming To Xbox Next Week (May 4-8)
Xbox is set to receive over 20 new games during the week of May 4-8, with a focus on indie titles rather than major AAA releases. Notable upcoming releases include Axe Cop, a turn-based jRPG with narrative direction by five-year-old Malachai Nicolle, and Dungeonloop, a turn-based roguelite featuring grid-based combat and procedurally generated runs with varied enemy encounters and collectible artifacts.
The game pass lineup will also expand with the addition of Mixtape, adding to the subscription service’s indie offerings for the week. While the period lacks blockbuster releases, the variety of indie games ensures diverse gameplay experiences across multiple genres. The week represents a typical indie-focused release window for the platform, prioritizing creative and experimental titles over mainstream productions.
