LYON Sign Castle From Disguised To Compete With Dhokla
LYON, the reigning LCS (League Championship Series) champions, has signed Korean top laner Cho ‘Castle’ Hyeon-seong from rival LCS team Disguised midway through the Spring Split. Castle will compete for the starting top lane position alongside LYON’s veteran toplaner Niship ‘Dhokla’ Doshi. In a corresponding move, LYON’s former toplaner Jett ‘Srtty’ Joye has joined Disguised for the remainder of the year.
Castle brings international experience to LYON after competing in North America since 2024, when he signed with Immortals. Despite playing on struggling teams, the Korean professional has consistently impressed with his individual performance and mechanical skill. The signing represents LYON’s mid-season effort to strengthen their top lane ahead of the remainder of the split.
The roster move was made possible after LYON’s bot laner Kim ‘Berserker’ Min-cheol obtained his green card, which freed up an import slot on the team. This allows LYON to field a third Korean professional player on their roster, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to acquiring proven talent mid-season.
