Valorant Mobile Surpasses 10m Daily Players Without Global Launch
Valorant Mobile has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 10 million daily active players in China. Announced by Riot Games via Weibo, the achievement highlights the mobile shooter’s sustained success since its August 2024 exclusive launch.
The free-to-play mobile adaptation generated immediate momentum, attracting 170,000 downloads and $1 million in revenue on its first day alone. This performance built upon exceptional pre-launch interest, with over 70 million players pre-registering before release.
Valorant Mobile’s growth has been remarkable throughout its first year in the Chinese market. The game earned recognition as China’s biggest mobile game launch, generating $73.4 million in revenue during its initial period. The steady climb to 10 million daily active players demonstrates both the strength of the Valorant franchise and the scale of China’s gaming market.
Despite strong performance in China, Riot Games has not announced plans for a global release. The game remains exclusive to the Chinese market, leaving international players without official access to the mobile version. While Valorant Mobile continues to thrive regionally, any expansion to international markets remains unconfirmed.
