EA Sports UFC 6 Revealed With Debut Trailer and Release Date
EA Sports has officially revealed UFC 6, the next entry in its popular fighting game franchise, with a release date of June 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is being positioned as “the most realistic and authentic fighting experience yet,” featuring several key technological advancements. Markerless Capture technology delivers enhanced fighter fidelity with authentic locomotion and Signature Strikes. The game utilizes Sapien Technology to create fighter bodies that authentically replicate how UFC superstars look, move, and fight. Real-Time Contact gameplay brings impact through Frostbite-powered ragdoll physics and damage reactions, while a Flow State system engages athletes’ standout skills during intense moments. EA Sports emphasizes these features create “immersive storytelling that makes every fight feel personal.”
The game will launch in two editions. The standard edition features UFC champion Alex Pereira on the cover, with Pereira stating that having EA Sports capture his likeness—particularly his signature left hook—means everything to him and represents an authentic fighter experience. The Ultimate Edition, priced at $99.99, features Max Holloway on the cover and includes seven days of early access, launching June 12, 2026.
New game modes are being added, including Hall of Legends and The Legacy, allowing players to experience the stories of UFC legends or carve their own competitive paths. The game represents the franchise’s continued focus on evolving striking and motion systems to deliver a more immersive and authentic fight simulation experience.
