LoL EWC Korea (LCK) Qualifiers Schedule and How To Watch
The League of Legends Esports World Cup (EWC) Korea qualifiers are underway, with Korea receiving four spots for the $2 million tournament. The region, known for its strong international performance, will see two teams already qualified before the main qualifier stages.
Gen.G, the defending EWC champions, have secured one of the four Korean slots. Sentinels, winners of the North American EWC qualifier, will also represent Korea despite being from North America. This arrangement reflects the tournament’s structure allowing strong international teams to compete under regional allocations.
The remaining two Korean spots will be determined through competitive qualification, awarded to the Road to MSI (Spring Split) champions and the top two teams from online qualifiers. This dual qualification pathway ensures that both traditional strength (league champions) and emerging talent (online qualifier winners) get opportunities to compete.
The LCK qualifiers are receiving comprehensive broadcast coverage, distinguishing them from the European equivalent’s early stages. All matches will be broadcasted with a dedicated English broadcast available on the LoLglobal channel through SOOP, a Korean streaming platform.
