Phasmophobia has released its latest update, introducing 12 new high-quality character models to enhance the multiplayer horror experience. The redesign represents a significant visual upgrade from the game’s previous character models, giving players a more polished appearance when playing alongside friends.
Each of the new character models features its own unique biography and expanded customization options. Players can now adjust individual hair colors and choose from a wide variety of cosmetic outfit pieces, including coats, shirts, and trousers available in multiple color variations. These personalization features allow for greater character differentiation among teammates.
Beyond the character redesign, the update includes additional gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements. The update addresses one of the early criticisms of Phasmophobia’s presentation—the dated appearance of character models—while keeping the focus on the atmospheric horror elements that define the game’s ghost-hunting core experience.
