Pokémon Go Tour: Kalos featured a special ticketed “Masterwork Research” quest called “Sparkle and Shine,” which offered players the chance to obtain a Shiny Diancie. The research quest became available on February 28th, though players needed to first complete the “An X-ceptional Yarn” Special Research before accessing it. As with all Masterwork Research tasks in Pokémon Go, this quest was designed to be particularly challenging and time-consuming, though players were given unlimited time to work through its various steps at their own pace.
