Amazon announced that the series finale of The Boys will debut in 4DX theaters on May 19 before arriving on Prime Video on May 20. The Season 5, Episode 8 premiere will screen at 9:30 PM in select 4DX-equipped cinemas, marking the conclusion of Eric Kripke’s five-season dark superhero series based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic books.
4DX is an immersive cinema technology that enhances films with environmental effects synchronized to on-screen action, including water sprays, wind, fog, strobe lighting, and motion-activated seats.
