Incredible RPGs Trails from Zero, Trails to Azure Announced for 4K, 120fps PS5 Release This Fall
NIS America will port the Falcom RPGs Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure to PlayStation 5 in fall 2026, available as separate purchases or as a bundle. Pricing details have not been announced.
The PS5 versions will feature technical upgrades over their PS4 counterparts, including 4K resolution support and frame rates of up to 120 frames per second. These enhancements represent the primary technical draws for players considering the upgrade.
NIS America has not announced upgrade paths for existing PS4 owners, continuing the company’s precedent with previous Trails releases. The publisher similarly declined to offer upgrade options for the PS5 ports of Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4, suggesting the same approach will apply to these releases.
Both Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are recognized as standout entries in Falcom’s long-running Trails series.
