EA boasts record year thanks to Battlefield 6 and EA Sports FC
Electronic Arts reported record financial results for fiscal year 2026 (ended March 31, 2026), with net bookings reaching $8 billion, a 9% year-over-year increase. Net revenue totaled $7.5 billion, up 1% from the prior year.
The strong performance was driven primarily by the successful launch of Battlefield 6, which the publisher highlighted as a major contributor to the record year. The EA Sports FC franchise also delivered solid growth, with positive results across EA Sports FC 26, FC Online, and FC Mobile. Additionally, Apex Legends showed resilience in the live-services space, achieving its strongest net bookings quarter of the fiscal year in Q4.
In the fourth quarter specifically, EA reported net revenue of $2.1 billion, up 12% year-over-year, and net income of $461 million, up 81.5% compared to the prior year’s Q4. While full-year net income declined 20.9% year-over-year, the significant quarterly turnaround demonstrates the impact of recent releases and live-services momentum.
CEO Andrew Wilson attributed the success to disciplined execution and talented teams, emphasizing the strength of both the new Battlefield launch and ongoing portfolio performance. The results underscore how major franchise launches and consistent live-services management continue to drive EA’s financial performance.
