Gamescom Latam attendance up by 17.5% in 2026
Gamescom Latam’s third edition achieved record attendance, drawing 154,000 visitors to São Paulo this week—a 17.5% increase from the 130,000 attendees who visited in 2025. The event, held April 29 through May 3 at Distrito Anhembi, has demonstrated sustained growth since its launch in 2024, when the inaugural edition drew 100,000 visitors.
The show featured over 400 games on display, including more than 60 new releases. Notable titles included Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Invincible VS, and Phantom Blade Zero. The event attracted 175 exhibitors representing 23 countries, underscoring its international reach and significance as a major Latin American gaming event.
Over 500 industry speakers participated, including prominent figures such as Brendan Greene of PUBG, David Wise (former composer at Rare), and Mikael Kasu of Control Resonant. The strong speaker lineup reflects the event’s positioning as a nexus for industry professionals and enthusiasts across the Latin American gaming landscape.
