The Secret Lair Goblin Storm deck is real, and it’s packing a ton of value
Magic: The Gathering’s previously leaked Secret Lair Commander Deck, Goblin Storm, now has an official release date of May 18. The 100-card precon will be available exclusively through Secret Lair’s storefront, with interested players able to register in advance on the site.
The deck emphasizes Goblin-focused strategies and the “Storm” mechanic, a powerful playstyle that allows players to accumulate multiple spell activations in a single turn to maximize offensive output and damage to opponents. According to Steve Sunu, Principal Product Lead at Secret Lair, the deck is specifically designed for players who understand and enjoy this aggressive Goblin gameplay.
The precon features custom artwork created specifically for this release, continuing Secret Lair’s tradition of premium, limited-edition Magic: The Gathering products with special art treatments.
