League of Legends Game Changers Rising New 2026 Format Announced
Riot Games has announced the return of League of Legends Game Changers Rising for 2026 with a significantly expanded format featuring more games and increased competition. The competition, described as “the official EMEA League of Legends competition for anyone identifying as women,” had its return confirmed in March, though format details remained unannounced until now.
The inaugural 2025 edition crowned Eterna as champion after an undefeated Group Stage performance and a dominant playoff run that saw them defeat G2 Hel twice to secure the title. The competition’s operations have been entrusted to N.E.O (New Esports Org) for the upcoming season.
The expanded 2026 format represents significant growth for the initiative, building on the success of the inaugural season. With more matches and competitive opportunities, the revamped structure aims to provide greater visibility and participation opportunities for women competitors in the European, Middle Eastern, and African regions.
