One guy broke 2 different Fallout 4 speedrun world records 9 times in 2 months

Speedrunner pekkanen has emerged as a dominant force in Fallout 4 speedrunning, setting nine world records across two categories over the past two months. The achievements span the Any% and Any% (No Intro) categories, both of which allow the use of glitches and exploits, with the latter excluding the game’s lengthy introductory sequence from timed runs.

Pekkanen’s record-breaking streak began on March 4 when he defeated longtime leader tomatoanus in the Any% category, posting a time of 33:44 against the previous record of 33:51. Two weeks later on March 19, he captured the Any% (No Intro) title from the same competitor, claiming his second consecutive world record.

Rather than resting on these achievements, pekkanen has continued refining his speedrunning routes and execution. He subsequently improved his own Any% record five additional times and lowered the Any% (No Intro) benchmark twice more, demonstrating sustained technical improvement and optimization within a remarkably short timeframe.

The consecutive records highlight both pekkanen’s individual skill and the competitive nature of the Fallout 4 speedrunning community, where players continuously discover new tricks and refine their strategies to shave seconds off previous benchmarks.
