Nintendo’s Top-Selling Switch 2 Games Of All Time

Nintendo’s financial report reveals strong sales performance for Switch 2 games in the system’s first year. The console, which launched in June 2025, has already established a robust library with five Nintendo titles surpassing one million units sold.

Mario Kart World dominates the sales charts, having sold 14.7 million copies through March 31, 2026 — a figure that includes copies bundled with the $500 Switch 2 hardware package. The racing franchise continues its tradition as a system driver, with sales approaching 15 million units total.

The remaining top performers include Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Legends: Z-A, both of which have crossed the one-million-unit threshold. A notable entry is Pokémon Pokopia, a newer title that achieved 2.41 million sales as of March 31, 2026. The game demonstrated exceptional launch momentum, already surpassing four million units just five weeks after release, positioning it to claim a higher sales ranking in the next financial report.

While Switch 2 hasn’t yet accumulated enough blockbuster titles to form a traditional top 10 list, the five games crossing one million units represent a strong foundation for the new hardware. The performance underscores Nintendo’s ability to leverage flagship franchises like Mario Kart and Pokémon to drive hardware adoption. The rapid sales trajectory of newer releases like Pokémon Pokopia suggests the Switch 2 library will continue expanding with additional million-seller candidates in coming months.
