Blade Runner XR experience comes to North America in 2027
Behaviour Interactive has partnered with extended reality (XR) company PHI Studio to announce a new immersive Blade Runner experience launching in North America in 2027. The collaboration secures rights from Alcon Entertainment, the IP’s holder, with Alcon serving as a key partner in the project.
The experience will be a “multisensory” offering featuring striking visuals and a narratively rich story. The partnership combines Behaviour Interactive’s creative and technical strengths with PHI Studio’s expertise in XR technology. Both companies are based in Quebec and will work with Alcon Entertainment to develop the experience.
Extended reality (XR) technology encompasses a spectrum of digital experiences, including augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and virtual reality (VR). The Blade Runner experience will leverage XR to blend physical and virtual worlds, creating an immersive environment for visitors.
The three-company partnership positions the project to deliver a sophisticated immersive experience leveraging cutting-edge XR technology. With a 2027 launch target for North America, the teams have several years to develop and refine the multisensory Blade Runner experience.
