Excellent Co-Op Brawler Absolum Now Has Full Cross-Play Support Across All Platforms

Absolum, the acclaimed side-scrolling co-op brawler that debuted on PlayStation consoles in 2025, has received a major update bringing full cross-play functionality across all platforms. The game is now playable with cross-platform matchmaking on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The update significantly expands accessibility for a game that has been praised for its engaging cooperative gameplay mechanics. Absolum supports both local and online co-op for up to two players, with the option for solo play throughout the campaign. While the game is fully playable as a single-player experience, the collaborative mechanics shine brightest when teaming up with a partner, enabling dynamic two-player combo attacks that reward practice and coordination between teammates.

Developer Guard Crush Games has demonstrated strong commitment to post-launch support, having previously released patch 1.1 in February that introduced an entirely new game mode alongside other improvements. The cross-play rollout continues this trajectory, significantly expanding the game’s community by allowing seamless multiplayer connections across console and PC ecosystems.
