As the Lies of P sequel enters full-scale development, developer Neowiz says it’s working on another Soulslike and a narrative RPG
Lies of P’s sequel has entered full-scale development and production phase, according to publisher-developer Neowiz’s Q1 2026 financial report. The game’s prototype has been approved, advancing the project to its full development stage. The sequel has reached the “vertical slice” phase, a small demonstrable portion of a game designed to showcase the full title’s direction and vision to executives.
The original Lies of P was a critically and commercially successful 2023 Soulslike that earned recognition as one of the most celebrated games in the genre created outside of FromSoftware. A sequel had been confirmed for over two years. No release window has been announced for the upcoming sequel.
According to the same financial report, Neowiz is also developing another Soulslike title and a narrative-focused RPG in addition to the Lies of P sequel.
