Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna is canon in the Marvel universe, but where does he stand in terms of power?
Marvel has officially integrated Jujutsu Kaisen into its Omniverse. In Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant #4, written by Murewa Ayodele with art by Federica Mancin, the character Storm travels through multiple universes, including one featuring Jujutsu Kaisen’s Ryomen Sukuna. The comic depicts Sukuna towering menacingly over a devastated Tokyo, directly referencing the major Shibuya Incident from the manga and anime series. A sign in the scene reads: “Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The Multiverse Cluster of Magic and Death.”
While the appearance could be dismissed as a simple Easter egg, fan communities have begun speculating about its significance. The prominent placement and detailed reference to such an iconic JJK moment suggest Marvel may be planting seeds for potential future crossovers between the two universes.
The crossover reference highlights the growing interconnectedness between major manga/anime franchises and Western superhero comics. Marvel’s Omniverse strategy has been gradually expanding to include various properties, and the inclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen signals the franchise’s massive cultural impact and global reach.
