CDL Major 3 Tournament Guide—Schedule, New Format, and Teams
The Call of Duty League’s Major 3 tournament is set to take place May 15-17, 2026, introducing a new competitive format to the professional season. The event will feature a $365,000 prize pool and mark one of the most ambitious tournaments on the calendar. As a Pro-Am event, Major 3 will provide four Challengers teams the opportunity to compete alongside established professional squads, giving emerging talent a significant platform and prize money opportunity.
The tournament will be held at DreamHack Atlanta, offering Call of Duty esports fans in North America the chance to experience the competition live. This live event component underscores the league’s commitment to expanding the esports audience beyond online broadcasts. While structured as a short-form competition running just three days, Major 3 promises substantial competitive content with its group stage format and dual-bracket Pro-Am structure.
The implementation of this new format demonstrates the Call of Duty League’s continued evolution in tournament structure, balancing professional integrity with opportunities for Challengers teams to gain exposure and compete for prizes. With the substantial prize pool and high-profile venue, Major 3 is positioned as a crucial event in the 2026 competitive season.
