Little Kitty, Big City’s ‘Birthday Bash’ Update Might Be Its Cutest Yet
Little Kitty, Big City has received its second anniversary update called “Birthday Bash,” bringing a collection of charming new features to the beloved indie title. The update is now available on Nintendo Switch, with patch notes posted on Steam.
The centerpiece of the Birthday Bash update is a delightfully cute party hat that Kitty can wear. Beyond this cosmetic addition, the update introduces substantial quality-of-life improvements and fresh content for players. The feline protagonist’s apartment has received a redesign, complete with new interactive objects that expand the ways players can interact with their living space.
A notable addition is the introduction of Turt, a tiny turtle NPC who serves as a helpful companion. The update also enhances the Photo Mode with special birthday-themed frames and stickers, allowing players to capture and customize their favorite moments in more festive ways.
Perhaps most significantly for players, the ability to customize their own cat character from the start of the game has been added, allowing for greater personalization and replayability. Players can now experience Little Kitty, Big City with their own unique feline companion rather than using the default protagonist.
The Birthday Bash update demonstrates Double Dagger Studio’s continued commitment to enriching the player experience with meaningful additions that maintain the game’s signature charm and whimsical aesthetic.
