Saros Squashes Trophy Bugs and Other Nasty Issues in Latest PS5 Patch, Available Now

Housemarque has released patch 1.004.002 for its PS5 exclusive Saros, continuing the developer’s post-launch support just weeks after the game’s debut. The update focuses on addressing several notable bugs impacting gameplay and progression.

Two Trophies—Untouchable and Vincible—have been corrected after occasionally unlocking at incorrect times. Beyond achievement fixes, the patch resolves multiple gameplay issues: enemies healing when they ventured outside designated areas, player characters clipping through elevators, and a critical progression bug where the Ancient Depths level failed to appear after defeating the Prophet boss encounter.

In addition to bug squashing, the update includes technical enhancements to the game’s HDR implementation. The peak output has been adjusted to enable the game to reach maximum luminance levels, improving visual quality for players with compatible displays.

This marks the latest in a series of regular patches Housemarque has deployed since Saros’ launch, demonstrating the studio’s commitment to maintaining quality and addressing reported issues during the game’s early lifecycle.
