Alienware Just Announced Its First Budget Gaming Laptop

Alienware has announced the Alienware 15, marking its first entry into the budget gaming laptop market. The new laptop starts at $1,299 for the AMD Ryzen-equipped version and $1,349 for the Intel Core configuration, making it significantly more affordable than Alienware’s existing lineup.

The Alienware 15 features Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 graphics as the base configuration, with options to upgrade to an RTX 5060. The laptop is immediately available for purchase on Dell.com with configurable AMD Ryzen or Intel Core processors, allowing buyers to customize their system.

This launch represents a strategic shift for Alienware, which has historically positioned itself in the premium gaming PC market with high-end, expensive systems. The company recently began expanding into more affordable market segments, including the AW2726DM QD-OLED gaming monitor, which launched at $349.

The Alienware 15’s starting price is substantially lower than Alienware’s next most affordable option, the Alienware 16 Aurora, which begins at $1,639.99 and occasionally goes on sale for as little as $1,199. This pricing positions the Alienware 15 as an accessible entry point for consumers seeking the Alienware brand experience without the premium price tag traditionally associated with the company.
