Call of Duty Mobile is Getting a New ‘Big’ Battle Royale Map and Gulag is Coming Back
Activision has announced significant upcoming updates to Call of Duty Mobile, one of the franchise’s most successful entries. During the inaugural episode of Inside CODM, Jeff Gullet, Co-Head of Call of Duty Mobile, revealed that a new large-scale battle royale map is in development and will be unveiled soon. Additionally, the fan-favorite Gulag feature is planned to make a return to the game.
These announcements come following the recent launch of Season 4: Eternal Prison. Gullet indicated that players can expect more detailed information about these upcoming features during Call of Duty Mobile’s anniversary season later this year.
Call of Duty Mobile has established itself as the most downloaded title in the Call of Duty franchise, with the player base approaching 2 billion downloads. The game, developed by TiMi Studios in collaboration with Activision, continues to receive regular content updates and seasonal expansions that maintain its position as a leading mobile shooter.
