NAVI to Face Vitality in IEM Atlanta Quarter-Final after Legacy Loss
IEM Atlanta 2026’s playoff bracket is now finalized following a dramatic final day of group stage competition. NAVI was eliminated after falling 2-1 to Legacy, with ex-FURIA in-game leader Andrei ‘arT’ Piovezan delivering a standout performance on Inferno. The loss sets up a Quarter-Final matchup between NAVI and Vitality, two of the tournament’s most formidable teams.
Vitality secured their playoff spot after narrowly defeating FaZe 2-0 in a tense series that featured an overtime victory on Nuke. The qualification came after an earlier upset loss to BetBoom, making their recovery impressive. Vitality subsequently defeated B8 to lock in their position, demonstrating resilience throughout the group stage.
The final day of competition saw several top-tier teams eliminated, including Astralis, FUT, and Liquid alongside FaZe, opening up significant portions of the playoff bracket and creating opportunities for surprising deep runs toward the championship.
