Batman: Arkham Knight Joins Xbox Play Anywhere, And More Major Titles Could Be On The Way
Batman: Arkham Knight, the 2015 action title, has been added to Xbox Play Anywhere—granting players who purchase it on console a complimentary copy for PC. While Xbox Play Anywhere traditionally focuses on new releases, this represents another legacy title joining the program, following precedent set by Hogwarts Legacy.
The addition is particularly notable following recent Reddit discoveries of “invisible” handheld compatibility tags attached to multiple games, including Batman: Arkham Knight. These tags suggest that additional legacy titles may be incoming to the Play Anywhere ecosystem. Speculation from the gaming community points to potential new additions like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Should such games arrive, it would constitute a significant expansion of the Play Anywhere program, bringing multiple older titles into a unified cross-platform ecosystem connecting console and PC gaming.
