Play These 8 PS Plus Games Before They Leave Next Week
Eight games will be removed from PlayStation Plus Extra on Tuesday, 19th May 2026, as part of the service’s monthly rotation. Players have until this weekend to complete or experience any of these titles while they remain available through their subscription membership.
The departing games span multiple genres and include several notable titles. The list includes MotoGP 25, Sand Land, Soul Hackers 2, both Mortal Shell versions (standard on PS4 and Enhanced Edition on PS5), Control: Ultimate Edition, and two entries from The Dark Pictures Anthology series (Man of Medan and Little Hope).
After the rotation occurs, subscribers will need to purchase any of these games individually if they wish to continue playing them. This monthly cycling of content is a standard feature of PS Plus Extra, allowing the service to refresh its library regularly while managing licensing agreements with publishers.
The announcement gives subscribers a notice period of approximately one week to determine which games they wish to prioritize before the removal date. Given the variety of titles—including action games, JRPGs, and other genres—players with different preferences will find value in the reminder to check the departing lineup.
