Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren Concludes Marvel’s Epic Comic Trilogy
Marvel has announced Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren, a new limited comic series that serves as a direct continuation of the publisher’s ongoing exploration of Ben Solo’s character arc. The series follows the conclusion of the 12-issue Star Wars: Legacy of Vader and will chronicle Ben Solo’s period as the Supreme Leader of the First Order, occurring between the events of the sequel trilogy films The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.
The new series is positioned as a bookend to 2020’s Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren, which originally detailed how the troubled Ben Solo first transformed into Kylo Ren and took control of the Knights of Ren. The Fall of Kylo Ren will further explore the challenges Ben faces as he consolidates his power and leadership, including significant conflicts with General Hux and Allegiant General Pryde. Phil Noto provides the cover artwork for the first issue.
This announcement demonstrates Marvel’s continued commitment to expanding the Star Wars narrative universe through comics, particularly focusing on character-driven storytelling around major figures during pivotal periods in the sequel era timeline.
