Escape from Tarkov Event Starts as Rogues Populate Shoreline and Reserve

Escape from Tarkov has launched a new limited-time event called “Full Speed Ahead,” which runs through May 21. The event kicks off with a quest line available on both PvE and PvP platforms, beginning with “No Smoke Without Fire,” followed by “Stealing the Stolen,” and concluding with “Alloy.” Players who complete the event unlock the exclusive “Awaiting Departure” achievement.

The main feature of this event is the expansion of Rogues beyond their traditional Lighthouse location to both Shoreline and Reserve maps, increasing difficulty across multiple areas. “Stealing the Stolen” requires players to collect radar station spare parts from specific locations across three maps and stash them at designated positions. The final quest, “Alloy,” requires obtaining and planting a Wi-Fi camera at the weather station on Shoreline.

This event marks the beginning of Escape from Tarkov’s stated roadmap for 2026, indicating developer Battlestate Games’ commitment to regular content updates and special events. The introduction of Rogue activity on new maps suggests an ongoing narrative element to the game’s live service, potentially setting up future events or permanent map changes.
